Immortality is awesome losers, she's just socially retarded. Just keep making friends until the end of time.

Kinda of a similar feeling to knowing you will most likely outlive your parents. Really makes you reflect on how you spend your time regarding relationships.

@Rozzak There are ways around the problem of solitude, such as associating oneself solely with other long-living creatures, but to counter your point, the advantages and disadvantages are hardly mutually exclusive. Longevity allows one to get more things done, but the friends you made cannot be completely replaced. One doesn't have to "reject" the notion of immortality in order to mourn for the passing of others. Compassion is only as much of a virtue as one makes of it.

Seems pretty okay. It's nice to see a story that will have a perspective that is much larger than a human lifetime's worth.

I hope there's at least SOME action in this series though, considering how shonen sunday is so light on action series at the moment.

i really like theese kind of stories where main character lives a much longer life than others/immortal(to you the immortal, for example)
really liked so far

how did they not recognize her when there's been a statue of her just there for decades

I FREAKING WEEP MAAAN why so sad :(( and here i thought that an elf girl is a must in every hero party ( like thr archer position) never really thought about what happened AFTER tho 😥 thanks for translating this

Immortality is fine if you have the fortitude for it. Make sure to have the unaging and undying as part of the package. Of course, it can be horrifying if you’re tortured nonstop; I.e. Ajin or Gintama.

Finally some view on life from an elf's perspective. Gives off Tolkien vibes.
I guess there were Touhou doujinshi upon this theme. I've read a description, there was something about the conversations of immortal girls about immortality. Didn't read the thing itself tho. Who is interested in Touhou and immortality, can try to find it.
As for this, I'm glad it was picked up quickly, without waiting for tankobone *cough cough*

And I liked how she got herself into a mimic again while solo travelling

@Liver there's a statue in a parc not far from my place. There's some old man. If I suddenly meet him alive (he's dead tho), I'm almost sure I won't recognise him. And if do, then I just would be doubting myself "is it him? Is it really him?"
@Lazytyke nice to know, thanks
