@Dailan But we don't even know what Najimi's actual gender is. Whether she's crossdressing or not remains a mystery.

Of course Tadano brought chinsukou. On average, it's the item most commonly brought by the other people Najimi invited.

Does anyone remember that one of Komi's friends is insecure about having a problem of excessive sweating? Okay. She's not bad, but what if she ends up offending Ase and Ase ends up crying? If that happens I will hate her more than I hate Yamai.

I like Trapdano but I'd really like vanilla Tadano back.

Btw the manga is entering a 2 weeks or so hiatus if I'm not mistaken. The publisher's twitter at least said so.

Is Tadako-chan wearing nail polish? (page 7 frame 3). It certainly looks like he's been to the salon.

I lost it when the megaphone didn't do squat and how 3 of them brought chinsukou. Very funny stuff right there. At least Komi made new friends today!

@Xystus tsukkomi, also known as “straight man”, is a person who points out flaws in something someone says or does for comedic effect. It’s something that is very commonly used in Japanese comedies so I’d recommend learning a bit more about it.

Chinsuko is a traditional Okinawa sweet like the characters had stated.

idea: anchi-san spinoff titled "tsukkomi-san wa komyushou desu."
anyway. "tsukkomi" and "being mean" is such a delicate line to straddle, isn't it? before this chapter (and even some of her dialogues in this one as well!) her words are just straight up mean and uncomfortable... i guess anchi-san's lucky to find such well-meaning people (or people with very low self-esteem?) to be her friends, huh
