Poor daddy, left alone and not understood or ignored. I feel sorry for him even if they are a family of murderer. :'(

The fact that the husband is proving to be a giant man-child with his emotions seems ample evidence that the family screwed up with the whole "let's do nothing but spartan practical training for EVIL" routine, doesn't it? A little genuine socializing is important. ~w~

@Hazeyln: I'm not convinced think she's particularly dim. At least, to the extent she has started to appear dense because she's not catching on... but what's actually going on should be pretty unthinkable, especially to a former daycare teacher (I mean, Ain being this much of an adult is... unrealistic?). Or, like, having play be a big chunk of the learning schedule would be well-recognized good best-practice for teaching even just as far as its effect on subject matter retention goes. (She should have a way better repertoire than hide-and-seek as a daycare person though—indeed, hide-and-seek would probably be a bane of her existence in those professions: Keep the darn kids where you can see them and keep them out of trouble. But, I digress.) Her husband's reactions seem plausibly impenetrable without the inner monologue, too, so...

But it is at the very least certainly true that she is not genre-savvy.

Ngl I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. Genuinely wants to hang out with them but every time he gets third wheeled. Feels Bad Man.

if she wants to be a good other she should know that for a child to have a dood development he needs father and mother and most importantly FRIENDS IDOIT HOW CAN SOMEONE FROM TH 21TH CENTURY NOT KNOW THAT A MOTHER AND A FATHER ARE NOT REPLACEMENT FOR FRIENDS

I'm starting to get annoyed with this FL , the son isn't the only one who needs love or attention

Shes kind of annoying because she thinks it was her,rosalia,fault that ain became a villain so she focuses on him yet she doesnt bother focusing on the dad?Doesnt she realise shes just judging him from the book and being prejudiced against him shes not even actively trying to get to know him because of her opinions of him from the novel.

idk if this sounds harsh but she's......stupid

....I kinda dislike when she's interfere with poison training either-- I mean, immunity against poison is important?

@RainRainDrop
Yada yada she's judging the dad. Yeah, the dad who is basically a serial killer. She witnessed it herself.

Ingesting poison in small amounts isn't exactly part of a great childhood. If we go by the standards of reality you can't even develop immunity to poisons. Tolerance sure, but only to some. You can't get used to cyanide.

LOL. He was on the tree. I did that before and my sister's boyfriend couldn't see me. Man, they blind as f0ck. 😂

Also, as the others said, I feel bad for the duke since he's not being included. She's married to him too!
