In settings -> more settings -> Site settings tab. You can select to hide 'Unavailable Chapters'

Oh I see what you mean now. I used to always go and select the follows button in the main toolbar, and there the chapter is hidden. Noticed now that the landing page, and follow tab in the page still shows it despite the flag.
