Still dont quite understand how he got this hurt... the lollipop wasnt the most important thing between them at all. What she said wasnt by any means this deep either.
If anything i guess the translation didnt get her wording correctly and instead of saying the lollipop had no meaning i suppose she said something like "theres nothing between us". That would make more sense.

@psychotherabbit i won't get too detailed (to avoid spoiling, since it's further explained in future chapters), but the translation is correct. in ch8 we get a bit of jaeha's backstory where he says that those lollipops seemed as if they were messages from his dad in heaven. for the person who gave him these to say it meant nothing could be hurtful.

@__arim but still... even if didnt meant as much for her it wouldnt change the fact it felt like was messages from his father. The delivery guy has zero influence on the taste of the pizza kind of analogy. I do get the point tho. But seemed more like hes sulking precisely for not meaning much for her in a personal level, regardless of his father, which would be unreasonable since they barely knew each other at the time and they exchanged plenty more things after that. Either way, it was in fact things she heard from his father and she lied out of embarrassment and fear.

Well, this is all actually excuses... ive completely forgot about the messages she wrote on the lollipops when ive made this comment lol Sorry...

@__arim tbh, for me what make it good is simply the fact that is very cute and heartwarming. Ive been avoiding most non japanese webtoons and manhua/manhwa and the like since got traumatized with every last experience which were a very shallow mess with non-stop dark drama and very lil happy moments or character/story development. Like rape attempts out of nowhere or NRT every corner and always a very fake romance with never a proper build up or a concrete focus.
Gladly, i was curious enough to dare to try again with this one.
