@UniYuki I think she meant in regards to what body she was reborn into, but it wasn't quite explained all that well. She said her situation was different and then listed some of the typical situations one might start in after awaking in a new world(becoming the villainous, heroine, etc.), only to reveal that she was in none of those situations.

"the cliched romance fantasy trope 'isekai'" Gotta say the first cliche and assumption that comes to mind with isekai definitely isn't romance personally, there are quite a few of those as well of course, it's the second association grouping I'd make, like she mentioned, often with villainess, but generic-fantasy-with-op-protag definitely reigns in more total works.

I guess if you're a woman reincarnating the romance trope is more likely, though. Though still, there's a couple generic OP ladies on the other side, honestly not enough, wish the generic OP men would diversify a bit.
