to readers who got confused: renee basically implies that she has been consuming sleeping pills because she has been thinking about the deaths and can't sleep but ch29 is just like hinting that she did that nothing said explicitly. not everything is portrayed in the manhwa. so sometimes the readers might get confused while reading the manhwa.

I agree that the story kind of meanders and then takes sharp turns elsewhere. It’s not like anything is hard to understand but the it seems like plot isn’t streamlined so things can feel all over the place. I do like the series, the art is great and the plot is fine when there’s more focus.

If this helps for some people who are confused: usually when the background gets panels are black it means that it’s a flash back. So there was a few flashbacks in these chapters
