A False Confession

Let just kidnap cabel and run away to somewhere they wont hurt him 🥺 my poor boy was being lied to!
 
Chapter 40: Oh my he's showing her a lovely view. He's going to conquer her heart despite knowing the confession was accidental, huh? Loving it!
 
@tonicwalter it reminds me of the back of a book that holds an excerpt from the story. may not make much sense first read, but it's actually pretty straightforward. a false confession -> she got drunk -> confesses -> realizes it's the wrong person -> wrong person accepts
 
i like the story n stuff but (like many others) im not very fond of the fl, i just cant put my finger on it though. maybe it's cause of her long monologues of misunderstandings and being overly cautions. or maybe it's how shes still skeptical of Cabel even though she has no reason to since he doesn't really do anything in particular to make her think that shes gonna get killed by him (other than the incident in ch 6 but that was just due to a misunderstanding tho) (also it's not his fault he looks scary!! people cant change how they look ok >_<)
 
Girl....cabel is stressed out bc he has tons or responsibilities. You only have one (1) job. Dont make it difficult 😩
 
A pretty refreshing feel to the FL. Dark humor?? Her train of thought is pretty grim while retaining a bit of realism. More so at the beginning.

Despite the title, the author already made it clear where she subconsciously fell for Cabel. And unsure of her feelings for the princely Elvin, which she concluded as love cuz of the heart throbs.
 
I feel so bad for Cabel, holy shit. He's so precious, and now he's being fooled while being treated like that after thinking he got confessed to. Imagine, lol.
 
I feel bad for Cabel too. I think I’ll take a break from this now. I don’t hate the FL, but I really don’t like how his feelings are getting played.
 
I've actually been enjoying this series a whole lot. I hope we can see more of Cabel's side, he seems very likeable.
 
Huh. As much as I hate the basic concept of this (confession to the false guy), this is actually a good read and I'm thinking... should we really feel sorry for the wrongly confessed guy?

Because for a guy that's socially akward, but very observant, how can he not realize that the confession was off? That she's acting not as happy as she should be? That guy always watches her and can read her pretty well. Heck, she fainted and smelt strongly like alcohol at the confession. I'd love it if he's aware and not letting her come clean in order to become closer to her. Would kill the whole questionable "she's playing with his feelings" aspect, too.

I've just binged the whole series actually, but it's interesting to see people theorized that before. It totally makes sense, too. Signs are all there, and this story never had the habit of making characters behave non-in-character. It makes reading this point of the story a lot easier if I consider it from this viewpoint.
Because, let's face it, Cabel is not the type of guy who would be blinded by love to oversee the obvious, as was my first thought.
 
OMG THAT BONUS AT THE END!!! Tysm for blessing us. My life would be left incomplete and I’d die with regrets if I hadn’t seen it.
 
Is it just me or are some of the panels kinda blurry towards the end? It seems strange since the final panels have better quality though
