I basically skimmed this over. A good take on isekai but the characters (other than the “master”) walked all over the MC. I understand that the pretty friend is the princess, but no one appreciating the effort of the MC (no matter how passive she was) rubs me in a wrong way.

This could have been a lot of potential.

wait i'm surprised this has such a low rating? like idk i read this a while ago, but i remember liking it and thinking it had a very natural ending if that makes sense, and if anything, i rlly did enjoy this. i thought this would have at least a 7 or even 8?

There were so many times I thought of dropping this series. But I’m very glad I stuck it out to the end. I really hated most of the characters stepping all over Satoki in almost every chapter, that made me upset. But there were some moments that made me feel truly touched, and I like how they taught Satoki to be a better person. So not a bad read in general, but it really depends if the reader can take the numerous blows.

@rosaa1 Yep. It would've been great if she tried to stay for their victory party and be recognized for her effort. In that way she will hear from our Mavi the real words she deserved to hear. . . She played a role side character or not and our Mavi was rearing to explain and talk to her about that once it all settles down.. but damn she just had to to be foolish and used all her powers with no regard with other people just because no one protested at first..and just when something good is starting for my MavixSatoki ship, I felt it - the foreshadowing, it ended ubruptly.

The ending is pretty much right for Satoki imo. I mean that is just how she is. The reason why the ending seemed particularly empty and unsatisfying is probably cos Satokis growth as a character is not as explosive as your typical protags. It is subtle and in a way plain just like her.

Anyway this is such a fresh take on isekai trope haha I enjoy it

For the record. Its okay for that ending. Satoki wasnt needed for that world anymore, even though Master seems to want her to stay, she isnt necessary. LOL its clear that he became attached to her in a way and in the end she did her time. She was, in her own, a stable character to begin with.

I selfishly want a sequel where they summon her back, just to resume her role as the second Holy Maiden, if not the next one. Ultimately to re-meet Mavi & develop their relationship further (as an alternative ending, for example). But as this one is bittersweetly obvious, she's only the second/side character & her role is concluded as just enough to help everyone else until her time came.

So now I'm imagining for my own complete satisfaction if she'd ever tried to stay behind... & receive Mavi's true feelings lol & clear her name & path for the peaceful future beside the FL & everyone else. But alas.

For me personally, this one-of-a-kind manga is a 10/10. Btw guys, the artist still has five other awesome works we can enjoy including A SEQUEL TO THIS MANGA, so to cleanse our palate, let's read em marathon lol.

That was the worst. The MC is so freaking frustrating. Like, I'm angry. She's treated like crap the entire time by everyone and just accepts it.

The description of two being summoned gave me hope that it'd be like that other isekai whose name alludes me atm.

You're left blue balled on so many aspects but especially with the MC. She makes no real character growth, so her being treated like shit by everyone just falls flat.
