A Private Story on Third Street - Vol. 1 Ch. 8.5

@solonit so that she can secretly burn down unfavorable stalls. Probably also to use as a distraction to escape if they were at risk of getting caught.

Actually ninjas don't wear those kind of outfits and don't really do any "NINJA!" things. As they are an espionage group, they mostly dress like peasants and do standard information gathering/eavesdropping.

"Market research" is probably the most accurate thing. Not sure if the fire jutsu thing actually exists. (There could always be a "party magician" kind of magic trick where you start a fire and then throw it. FIRE JUTSU!)

@solonit ninja work is actually as same as intelligence agents like CIA. They gather information and sabotage, fire justsu include explosives and firearms for sabotage missions. They rarely involve to assassination missions like modern media portraits them, so ninja or shinobi actually rarely overlap assassin's missions.

The stereotypical ninja outfit was a specific thing they wore in order to move around in dark places unseen, in the situation where they needed to do so. There were other versions of them for other environments too; feudal Japanese camouflage fatigues, basically.

Viking wearing horns implies that she ran home from playing ball with the kids when she heard about ninja

I couldn't stop laughing that they got the islamic assassin to grab basically what could be a bomb to show off.
