@Kamo7293 Doesn't look like it. Apparently tri tip is a cut from the bottom sirloin, with considerably less fat than misuji.

I saw "mi"suji and thought that mi stood for 3
ie just a random guess
 
I understand. Heck, I had to search the web to find out what misuji is; I'm not super familiar with Japanese cuts of beef.
