Regarding physics. If grease removes friction and therefore somehow counteracts drag, then the explosion's shockwave wouldn't have accelerated him either. It would just have moved past him. Even if not, the acceleration seems extreme. Did he also use mass damper and inertial damper fields (same thing?) on himself? Mass, so he travels with the speed of the shock wave and inertial as he wouldn't be crushed.

But don't sweat the details. You gotta love the abuse of the system.

It wasn't just [Grease]. There was also [Sliding on Icy Road] and [Infinitely Gliding Force], which both also seem to decrease friction and drag. Yaaayyyyy magic!!!

explosion would still accelerate him. he's only frictionless, he's not a ethereal. think of explosion as a rapidly expanding balloon and the membrane as a wavefront.
