Sorry, but can someone explain something for me? From the previous chapter I thought Shuli and the Duchess had their discussion at Shuli's home, because Shuli literally says to the other woman that she (the Duchess) arrived for a visit before she herself (Shuli) could go to her to thank her for her gift. And in reply the Duchess proceeds with an explanation as to why she drooped by. But then in this chapter Nora arrives home and everybody is like where was he, and why doesn't he great Shuli who is visiting? And of course then there is the scene with Shuli going home in a coach. So ... what on God's green earth?!
