A Story about a Cat Reincarnated in a Different World Where There are no Cats. - Ch. 3

@reu That's probably not good for your cat since cat is obligate carnivore, they should not eat anything other than meat.

@Kobitohime If they're properly cooked they're not harmful and so long as it's just a occasional treat they can have some health benefits https://www.catological.com/can-cats-eat-potatoes/
There's also "chanfana", a traditional dish of potatoes and goat baked together inside clay pots that they're particularly ravenous for
What's not good for them is the love some of them have for fruit, especially pears.

@Pyoro @sinisempi @giganippa: From what i know, its not that Cats are Lactose Intolerant, but rather the issue is the source of the Milk/Lactose.

Cats are Carnivorous (they aren't Omnivore like Dogs or Humans), so they can't really easily digest any plant based protein, which is why they have difficulty digesting Milk from any Herbivore Animal like Cow or Goat Milk (which causes them to get sick, or stomach issue).

As long as the Milk source is from an Animal which is either Carnivore (like Cat Milk) or Omnivore to a certain extent (like Human Milk or Baby Milk Formula), there shouldn't be any problem.

I mean, even female cats produce milk to feed their infants, so that already hints that Cats can tolerate Lactose (its just the source that's important to keep in mind).

ppl need to stop spreading the myth that cats like milk. Cats are lactose intolerant.

@GaryMahmud thats fair, but it's like someone in manga having a dog and they feed it chocolate as a daily treat ya know? sure the dog likes it but it's still poison.
