A Story About a Grandpa and Grandma Who Returned Back to Their Youth - Vol. 1 Ch. 18 - Funeral

This was wholesome. They're just drinking and joking as they always did, even when one is dead and another undeservedly became young.
It was interesting to compare their pictures now and then. The dead one from the portrait, yeah.
I wish I had friends to come through with from kindergarden to the grave

Hahahaha... ha....
It felt like yesterday we still fuck around and laugh like fools together, and now I'm suddenly all alone. I miss that bunch of morons I used to call buddies....

I came into the chapter hoping for some enjoyment but I just end up leaving sad.

Shit, this one comes out after me knowing a friend of mine back then in college was recently passed away, and It just goes straight to your core.

Of all the money that e'er I had
I spent it in good company
And all the harm I've ever done
Alas it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To mem'ry now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be to you all
Of all the comrades that e'er I had
They're sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I had
They'd wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
If I had money enough to spend
And leisure time to sit awhile
There is a fair maid in this town
That sorely has my heart beguiled.
Her rosy cheeks and ruby lips
I own she has my heart in thrall
Then fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all.
