Are you fucking serious? I pity you if you think Rom-coms have to be so bad. There are tons of them with mature characters too. In this one the author is playing with the gap moe (Strongest Knight v/s Behaving like a kid).

And this premise is getting old. He has basically run out of ideas and is dragging it with bullshit.

Don't teach me how rom-coms should be, I've read over 150 of them kiddo.

@Sadisticmale - Honestly, just because you read romcoms doesn't mean you're an expert at it. Most likely your thinking of romantic comedies with Western elements mixed into it. These tend to be a lot more plot progressive and more mature characters.
Eastern romcoms tend to be a lot less plot progressive and mature - They prioritize focusing on humor and wholesome content that can't really be used as progression. These tend to be made for instant satisfaction as opposed to immense satisfaction over time like Western influenced romcoms.
While there are Eastern romcoms that do follow plot progression, most don't.
