My heart is bleeding here. I'm so sick and tired of this, I'm thankful to the American translators and all but why is it each and every time, there are so few of English translations? It's like compared to other countries english speakers don't work that hard -. - or there are few English translators in existence period.

I like MC and all three of her daughters. They all bring something really lovely to the story.

Normally I don’t like it much when a ML is too pushy or arrogant seeming but I like the dynamic of him and Mildred because she’s an adult and isn’t flustered by anything he throws. It seems like he’s going to be the whipped on eventually so I can put up with this for now. He’s not a terrible person so I’m looking forward to him learning to change his mindset if that’s the route the author is going for.
Pretty awful sense of humor he has though.

As for the assumptions/predictions everyone is making I don’t think I agree. I’m quite sure ML didn’t assasinate FL’s husband, he just happens to be an overly self-loving bachelor who is into capable women.

I love the kids and Mildred's interaction.... but seriously if Daniel will be the MC later I'm gonna drop this off. He's so suspicious the whole time, and him being easily jealous didn't make it better, more over he didn't even consider Mildred's will to raise her kids well... it's like he just want Mil and not the children. And in this chapter his joke is really inappropriate, it really irks me if the author thinks that was romantic

If Mil will have her own romance, I hope there will be another man decent enough than Daniel is

all things considered, daniel is at times, polite sarcasm at a fault. I didn't dislike him, but I think Daniel wants Mil to do what she likes to do..and romance is what he wants her to reconsider.. even though the way was really not proper. Queen Dowager, please hit his head

I know a lot of people don't like Daniel because he's suspicious, or dismisses her kids, or gets jealous easily. I think it's because he's the first (apparent) main love interest who's hasn't got flashy colors. Most male leads in both manga and manhwa seem to steer clear of brown hair and brown eyes. Something "too boring" for a fantasy romance. Typically they have blonde, black, or silver/white hair and brighter colored eyes of something like blue, gold, red, sometimes black, or the rare green eyes.
When I read the comments I feel like commenters have genuine concerns with his conduct, but it's foundation is in some part of their subconscious that is convinced he isn't the main love interest. Some of the things they say they don't like about him are things like I mentioned before; that he's suspicious. But in other works like this the male lead almost always take an unnatural interest in the MC; it's how they work. All male leads are suspicious with these things, but eventually the story goes on and nobody cares anymore.
Another complaint is that he doesn't consider her kids, or seems to forget about them, etc, etc. I think this is what proves that you can't please everyone. What I saw was a male lead who didn't define the MC by her kids or status as a twice widow. I can imagine that if he was fully considerate of her kids in all his decisions for her then someone would complain that it was a Mr. Feminist who's so pro-women that here really shouldn't exist in reality. I've people complain about that sort of thing before, as dumb as that argument is.
Also as for the jealousy thing; a lot of authors nowaday still abide by the trope of having times (maybe lots of times) that the love interest gets jealous even if it's illogical or frequent enough to be annoying. Especially in Japan, Korea and other asian countries that produce anime content. As for Daniel? It was the first time, and maybe they barely know each other, but that's the inexplicable allure of the protagonist. Shoujo logic.
I actually really like Daniel cause he feels like a breath of fresh air. Don't get me wrong, I love my exotically colored bishies, but they are pure fiction. Daniel feels more realistic and I lovehis dynamic with the MC despite how briefly they've known each other.

Lol. After many protagonist or villain from romance novel or game reincarnated trend, now it's parents theme that gets the highlight.

I kinda like the story so far because FML got reincarnated exactly before the 'mother' in the OG stories took a bad turns.

Also I think Daniel seems already know that Mildred are a widow. I really hope he wasn't gonna be Mildred love interest even though it's kinda oblivious.

I just , to me it feels like a lot of people here take there parents for granted seeing all the comments about not wanting Mildred to have a proper love life Because she has 3 daughters kinda disgusts me like not wanting your own mum to be happy and have a proper love life .... is sad and that is being used as an example
And they don’t think about themselves they only think about their kids and how there doing , how there healthy , how they need to vaccinated, how she needs to buy them a proper clothes , materials , school supplies,and a roof over their head. If your ever wondering why they have no servants it’s because they don’t have that much money and Daniel even tries to help...

Actually now that I think about it he is a bit over the top.... okay ummmm....kinda seeing and remembering what he’s done is kinda a big red flag oh god... Mildred , good luck! ( and I’m not talking about the charity work he’s doing for Mildred.....)( but dirty work to some others...)
