Ok nah, this made me actually hate ML. Like first off, why joke about a dead fiancee when the other person has had a husband die and another missing (from the POV of those who dont know her 2nd is dead too) like even if she didn't love them, she probably still had some affection towards them. And also, who the fuck insinuates to the person they are pursuing that their spouse is dead, like that's just gonna upset them if they still think of them as missing and even if she knew he was dead, she hasn't told anyone and she's just gonna think you're mostly likely stalking her/looking into her personal life. Creepy. He's so insensitive and selfish. I don't like him at all

I'm hoping he only knows because he was involved with finding the body or something, but even then it makes the "joke" about a fiancee dying pretty shit. Unless it turns out it wasn't a joke, and he just claimed that to lighten the mood afterwards.
