I thought I'd prefer it if the Earl remained this mysterious, staunch character you'd regret ever crossing or disappointing... But I was sold when I saw her cry. She's simultaneously the most interesting character and the anchor for the MC. He's loyal to her not just because she adopted him, housed and fed him, but because she gave him comfort when no one else did. Multilayered, meaningful, non-romantic relationships in webtoons are always a treat, especially when done well.
