Ability to edit Avatar when uploading image for profile pic

Requesting some kinda ability to crop the image uploaded for the avatar so i can use a specific part of it instead of having to either use the whole thing (how it works right now) or having to crop the image myself (tedious)

Since most folks here are cropping faces from manga pages anyway, I'd say this feature is pretty hard to justify.
It's even harder to implement something that's customised for the site, so a waste of thinking-about-programming time.

Just search "crop image online" and any of those sites will do. It may be tedious as you say, but it's not like you're doing it every week right?

I support this. Would be cool if avatar photos would conform to a specific dimension more akin to the discord app. That would look so much cleaner. Also maybe have it viewable on mobile versions? Idk much about this kind of stuff so I guess I don't really know what I'm asking or rather the work behind it but would be really great if it could get implemented.

Not a bad suggestion but definitely won't be a priority considering all the more urgent features that should be added.
