Add "Tensei/reincarnation" as a genre tag

would be great if we can have Tensei/Reincarnation as a genre tag

isekai already exists. I know that's not the exact same but I'd say there's a ton of overlap.

There are also cases of non-transfer reincarnation, like Pet Behemoth and Eiyuu no Musume etc.

@Shirobane @vaendryl yep. there's quite a bunch of reincarnation mangas that are absolutely not isekai, enough to be unfair to just clump every tensei series into the isekai tag

I agree. The two are similar but not quite the same. For example, you can reincarnate in the same world, or be isekai'd as-is without being reborn.
