Ahh one of my favorite "ships", the young girl character and older guy character. The age difference can be as wide as 10-30 years, of course, I mean platonic relationships. I always find these wholesome because usually the young girl character either had a father but passed away or left the family and then sees an older man who either reminds her of her father or sees her sort of like her father figure or a father she never had. Plus points on this one for the guy character being as dense as a rock lol

Probably because the overarching character arc in those five volumes were covered in the anime, which a lot of people have seen. So, they skipped to the part with a new MC which the anime never got around to.
