After Snowfall, Wonder

If this manga won an award how low were others? Not saying it's bad, but it's a definition of mediocrity. Mediocre story, mediocre characters (or rather lack of them), mediocre storytelling (actually panel flow was worse than average), better than average drawing and that's all.

Oh this is pretty neat, a little cryptic and cliche but pretty nice imagery using poltergeist mmm...

@Tikibo These are manga magazine contests. They put out an open call for oneshots, and pick the best. Generally it's a brand new author without any other publications -- their "debut work". I like doing debut works :)

@Kalendel first, thank you for your work on this manga. Second, I know how such awards work. That's why I was wondering if other entries were lower in quality, as this is just mediocre. Most award-winning debut works I've read have "that something" in them. Gimmicks or ideas which make them interesting even if a bit rough around the edges. I just found it lacking in some way, nothing special, really.

The story telling in this one is kinda good, the way the author makes you think what was the spirits true purpose is great.
