Again My Life - Ch. 23

I thought this was the oneshot but got pleasantly surprised it was the next chapter😁. I've been waiting for the court trials since this is a lawyer series.

Maybe it's a translation issue. Maybe it's something with South Korean law. However, I say this as a random person on the Internet who claims to be a lawyer. This made so little sense. She refuses to answer...but then answers...

Like, is that part of the assignment? Or is she just being a crappy defendant?

@comeonnow0 She knows only what she's told to do for the trial. This is just a practice.. she has no knowledge about anything else.
She's answering like a robot.

@WhyBother Then she could easily continue to say she refused to answer. You know, exactly as she has said? But the moment he rephrases the question slightly, she is willing to talk?

Your explanation makes zero sense for that issue. She is a robot...who says different things to the same question? Yeah, okay.

@Ghistdevil Do you not see how that STILL does not address any of what I said? It's not being pedantic when I'm printing out that it still doesn't make sense.

@comeonnow0 because her lack of telling anything would signify as not knowing, which is basically telling that her interest in cars is lie

@Ghajik I don't know how it works in South Korea specifically, but that is EXPLICITLY not allowed in other countries. The right to not self-incriminate means that the legal system CANNOT take that negative conclusion.

And yes, I am explicitly saying I don't know South Korean law. However, look at the fact that she literally says she chooses not to answer one moment and then chooses to answer when it's asked one more time. What is the point of that? That makes no sense at all. If you, Ghajik, are correct, then her choosing not to answer in the first place is bad ALREADY.
