@arimareiji Yeah, the MC became a worthless chump in this arc. It's gotta be something done on purpose. Maybe he just wanted to axe the manga?

@beperov Not just that, the way the other characters suddenly started talking about and acting toward MC... is pretty close to how a severely-depressed person thinks everyone secretly feels about them.
Maybe Sensei just found out about Logic stealing the I Want To Die musical, and it kicked him back into the depression we saw in earlier chapters?
More seriously, it's jarring to see everyone switch almost instantly from trusting/respecting him to acting like he's worthless just because someone jumps in out of nowhere and says so. The ones who have worked with the arrogant riajuu before, maybe? But it's really hard to understand why Hiro, Tawara, and Fujieda would do it.
(And in terms of plot continuity, if arrogant riajuu is such a compelling figure that Usami et al instantly start treating MC like
on his say-so, why had we never heard about him before?)

I'm guessing by the 106th chapter or so she began to realize there isn't really that much more she could do to extend the story to explore the already strenuous connection between the ouendan club hijinks and the time travel, so she decided to outline an ending and start it with a pre-redemption downfall arc (you know like in movies where the hero has gotten used to his powers only to meet a massive obstacle or letdown, which the hero eventually manages to overcome right before the story's ending). I realized this after reading the Japanese raws up until the end and re-reading the scanlations. This is the beginning of the end, so enjoy it while it lasts.
