I kind of like this guy, I'll probably be disappointed when he loses. Sure, he's pushing hard for what he wants. But he's straightforward, and he's interested in her as a person, and he's trying to get her to be who she really is rather than just copping out and saying the conventional acceptable thing.

I've said this maybe for the last three chapters (probably since this guy showed up) but I'm really rooting for them to be a thing instead of the cousin. But I know I'm setting myself up for disappointment

Anyone has any spoilers about this, it would be great if you shared your knowledge.

I'm not sure yet if I like them together, but I'll feel bad for the guy when he gets rejected for the cousin.

But who knows, maybe in the end they'll get together or something, because I'm sure her family will throw a fit if she starts a relationship with the cousin, and I think it won't even be because they're cousins, but mainly because of the age gap.

I hate pushy male characters, but Aiko and the other main are so dysfunctional, a character like this is probably entirely necessary to push the story forward.
