@princessofwisdom dude, I never said they are not in love. but think of situation. burning building, smoke everywhere, people are fighting outside, she just came to after carbon monoxide poisoning, they are running away in a desperate attempt to save their lives and than BAM fanservice for 13 year old girls. I know it's a shoujou manga and all, but it's also a grounded fantasy epic. it's your typical "girl twists her ankle so a guy caries her like a princes" cliche. this scene served no purpose other than give fanservice and that makes it forced. Just because you miss the point it does not mean there is no point.

i don't really like reverse harems where the female lead chooses one guy because I know the others (maybe not all of them but a few) are going to be a little heartbroken and that low key makes me sad

@ZeonII jfc you would be THE most boring writer ever if you can't conceive of personal drama going down in the midst of bigger, more serious situations. They're in a part of the building that's not yet on fire, and Hak was already sitting for a rest. It's not like Hak yanked Yona aside in the middle of running from flames licking the backs of their heels to kiss her. Quit looking for excuses to complain about things that aren't a problem, it doesn't make you look as smart as you think it does.

honestly this just skyrocketed up to one of my most favorite kiss scenes of all time -- sooooo many things were soooooo well-done about this!! art/pacing/intensity could not have been done better.

I am happy with the kiss and also happy that the chapter isn't all about the kiss. I'm honestly just waiting when Gobi finally gets all the crap he did right back at him, can't believe he's still alive after all this, haha. Also, hope nothing happens to Hak on Jae-ha's trip back to get him.

I disagree with the comments that this is fan service though, I think the development of the chapter leading up to the moment is justified and not forced.

@morethanhollow He says he's not killing him out of respect for Algira and Vold. I don't hink it's because of Yona being there, as she also has seen enough People dying/being killed (and killed some herself). He just wants to leave the joy of killing Gobi to Algira and Vold.
