She’s so useless... and its fine, but I wish the author would just acknowledge that. She is a complete dead weight, always. Her only redeeming feature is the fact that she has an advantage and a high bonus on char rolls against the dragon warriors

@Tanilani I kind of thought that this chapter did acknowledge that she was a deadweight. Yona even knows it herself, which is why she is trying to get stronger and more useful. She frequently expresses her frustration with herself too. In the end, her experiences through this journey might develop her into a good ruler (Queen) who really understands the needs of the people (I haven't read beyond this point yet, so this is just a guestimation)

@Tanilani she's not complete dead weight right now, but it's not until she develops more that she drop kicks drug den junkies and rescues pretty ladies like a freaking action hero.

I mean the whole point is her struggle to become more useful, isn't it?

She's been trying since chapter nine, learning how to shoot a bow, helping people with kindness, not (physical) strength. People underestimate the importance of emotional support.
