For some reason, I found the old version more unique, even though it was a parody, with those stereotypical tropes, it had new ideas too. This version seems to have more of the standard plot brought in. Or maybe I just miss his daughter watching him through the game and the the whole coma plot line, which I love so much more than the died, hit head and recovered memories which has become so common. Still love it though!
