I feel like Nick's dad is why he doesn't get into a serious relationship. Though the question is if it has to to with genetics, like father like son, or if maybe Nick was in some way traumatized by his father leaving and this prevents him from getting serious.
I can't tell if it's because Nick does such a crappy job at breaking up with people or if Nini is behind people not getting their break up messages. Either way Nini seems to revel in his brother's misfortune to a demonic degree.
