You know, I sort of set aside that it could actually have been a tie in to M-24 rather than M-21 even guessing about the connection to those two just before reading this chapter. It doesn't make much sense to toss us a scrap of background information for the one that

dies so early on. At least M-21 was actually alive enough to maybe care about any information about his or his fellow subjects pasts. Dead people don't care about stuff, they're fertilizer.

I knew this is a prequel, but i never expected to "see" M-24. And now im even more sad :')
