Alternatives to MangaRock for "manga suggestion" engine

I hardly used MangaRock to actually read manga, but it had a very useful suggestion engine to recommend other entries related to the ones that were being read. The biggest problem I have is that I know that there are lots of completed manga out there, but the only ones that I typically see are the ones being updated. Are there any services out there that have similar suggestion engines to what MangaRock had?

@DANDAN_THE_DANDAN thx! for some reason I've never really noticed MAL, I thought it was like another Baka updates or something where basic meta-data was kept
