Gosh; reading this hurts XDDD And about her not telling the truth...I think at first she just never expected them to eveeer meet again, to never have any reasons to interact with each other at all or even start to become friends. By the time they became friends, she just felt that she lost her chance/opportunity to tell the truth?

@reallyreece Yeah I feel like it's pretty hard to tell him at this point, but still better sooner than later. I mean, the truth has to come out eventually. She should have told him at the very beginning to save herself the trouble, but I guess she didn't care because she didn't know they'd eventually become friends.
