I kind of figured the eraser misunderstanding would've been cleared up by now and he'd either keep denying his feelings for her anyway or accept that he has them but think he's not good enough for her (which he seems to have felt about himself several times already) 'cause he's just a bookworm that wasn't even making decent strides towards his goal while she's actually really good at what she wants to do. I guess we're going with "I can't get (M)egumi out of my head, but I already have my heart set on (M)ikawa because she left me that encouragement signed - M at my lowest point" for a while longer.

The misunderstanding was blissfully short, but I'm a bit surprised that Megumi didn't figure out why her buddy was acting weird, normally she's pretty sharp.
