@bestboy Not all comedy is the same gags repeated over and over, though. But in general I do dislike stuff that makes no effort to be original or creative. I wager I enjoy less than 10% of the literature, movies, tv shows and videogames I try out.
@bestboy For sure. There's so much media being produced in the world, you could safely disregard all but the best 1% and still never run out of things to watch/read/play/listen to, ya know? So why waste time on substandard fare?
Shounen is the structure of the manga, romance/ drama are genres not sure if you understand what that means.
The fact that you're so pent up on defending this turd of a manga defeats me. Either way 137 chapters with no development is just lazy writing, 137 chapters goes beyond that being a gag just fkin lazy repetitive nonsense that only encourages the growing awkwardness that's been plaguing the young generations in japan.
@relic626 Shonen is the target demographic, not the structure... Besides that, my point is that all these tags and genres you keep referencing mean nothing since they're all fan generated. I'm not so much defending the manga as I am calling out an idiotic line of thinking. "These tags are applied to this manga so X and Y story arcs must occur!"
You know what else has 137+ chapters, no progress, a gag, and the same tags? SYD. And you'd be a fool to say it has lazy writing. Tags. Mean. Nothing!
Show me the original tags from the official site/ issue this is posted on, you can't disprove of anything unless you provide sufficient proof. Like how do you know its fan generated? Were you the one that decided on these things? Additionally i'm no weeb i wouldn't know mangas by their abbreviations (SYD).
Now returning to the my earlier point... it still doesn't change the fact that this is lazy writing, anything that follows Tropes that utilize repetitive content for 137 chapters with no development or closure is a lazy way to produce your content. This manga LITERALLY has the same thing done over and over in almost all of the 137 chapters. If you can't understand that well thats too bad, also i'm gonna exercise Mangadex's new block feature. :)
@relic626 lol, using block when he knows he's wrong. It's sold on Amazon's Japan store and as far as I can tell it doesn't have tags or genres.
How do I know they're fan generated? For one they're all different. Another reason is because the publishers sure as hell aren't going on MAL, MU, or MD and adding those tags. Here's the forum thread on MD where it mentions who can edit manga (hint: a lot of people) https://mangadex.org/thread/9682. Here's MU: https://www.mangaupdates.com/faq.html?cid=3#item60. And here's MAL: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1359571 (last post) https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=515955.
And you can't read manga and say you aren't a weeb. If you consume Japanese media you're automatically a weeb. I was talking about Setokai Yakuindomo, by the way, a nearly 500 chapter gag manga. It's very funny that your whole argument boils down to, "It's lazy because I think it's lazy!" Enjoy the block feature. I'm above blocking people who I disagree with.
