I've already said this before but one of the best things in this series is how much work the author puts into clothes. From uniforms to casual clothes, from bikinis to yukatas, from sleeping clothes to sport gear; EVERYTHING Amano (and the other girls too) wears is extremely well done both in overall design and small details.
Whenever the author wanna make us feel she is wearing something cute, gorgeous or sexy he accomplishes it flawlessly.

@Mnuchinboo: there was actual progress in the Okinawa arc, but it felt like they reached a "status quo" that they didnt wanna break for now. I always thought that this series was gonna go like this:
- First high school year: She in love onesided.
- Second high school year: (where we are now) He starts noticing her.
- Third high school year: Some major development with that other girl whose name i dont even remember and things start moving for real.
Even tho, this can be one of those series where there could be no real development till the last arc xD

Yes ... she DID stop hitting him at one point ... I guess she is regressing to some degree. Had he looked away she probably would not have hit him. But no way to tell since the author still likes that trope.
