Presumably she's of the group which showers or bathes before going to bed so she has more time in the morning. I used to do that since I couldn't be woken easily in the morning and had to be up so early. Later I changed to morning showers because it would help wake me up for work. Instead my breakfast is what got cut short in the morning and became just something I could stuff in my mouth immediately instead of taking the time to make and eat things like eggs and bacon.
