The Japanese raw says "hitori/ひとり", which can mean "lone/alone", so it was probably supposed to be [solitary], not soliloquy.

@Gunfort Aw, man. Sorry to hear that. I live in an area with its share of coyotes; our current cat is an indoor cat. It was a hard decision, but some things had happened with previous pets . . .
I take her out for walks sometimes though.
