Honestly, I'd get the brother feels threatened since regardless of what ML does, he is still a candidate AND is naturally loved by the masses. Still, by his own words, he doesn't want the power and authority. The brother's actions right now are merely showing how much of a pr*ck he is and how he truly doesn't deserve the title. ML and his men clearly already have a few ideas and simply need more evidence and leads

People are pointing out that the recent Djinns are likely not a coincidence but rather part of someone (most likely brother)'s plot. I agree but then the real question is how is someone getting them in the middle of the city with no witnessing it? This leads me to think they were summoned, and summoning would require another magician. For some reason I think our FL's old friend (blue haired guy) will pop up as the enemy's magician.

EDIT: @Mukade that's right I forgot about that. That prince is living rather dangerously though. Whenever someone starts doing freaky experiments its only a matter of time before one of them backfires.

@Aeriandra in chapter 15 it was confirmed that the brother is behind it, as Primavera asked him if the "artificial djinn" was his doing.

But I also suspect that Jibril is alive! He's got a lot of screen time for a dead character, and he really looks like a 2nd male lead lol
