An Evil Dragon That Was Sealed Away for 300 Years Became My Friend (Pre-Serialization) - Vol. 1 Ch. 6

Well it probably depends on the age of the dragon as well though? 300 years may be nothing to dragons 500 or 1000s of years old but to young dragons (which I believe she is one) its probably an eternity as they haven't experience life long enough for 300 years to be a "small" amount of time. Similar to how when we are children, a week or a year can seem like a very long time

@Wolfwhistler

So she is getting smaller and smaller each chapter because she wanted to be cute and non-threatening? Kinda sad.

@Seink I mean, she kinda has gone crazy. She's supposed to be a prideful and mighty dragon that is self-confident and believes herself to be flawless, but here she is naught but a little girl who believes she was rightfully sealed the first time and allows a lower being to pat her head like she is some pet. Sure, we wouldn't get our fluff if she was stereotypical and it's likely that not all dragons fall into that norm anyway even if they didn't go through what she did, but you could argue that from a typical dragon's perspective she has gone absolutely bonkers.

Imagine if you showed up to the raid late and when you arrive, you see all the other participants beating up a little girl

Oof. I don't think that's a raid boss, I think that's the endgame final boss summon after the big bad sacrifices their life to complete the ritual.

The heroes jumped to conclusions and just mauled her.

and they still beat her after taking that form?

okay, i need to nuke those guys...

I think the seal was broken because the spell was outdated or can't contain the dragon power anymore. Either way the process itself took every 100 years then repeated by 'Raid Event' that passed from generation to generation.

I hope the 4th cycle are not bound to happen in this manga timeline.

Okay, but consider that 300 years ago there were cannons and muskets. I don't know if she escaped recently, but it's been a long ass time since the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, meaning things were probably pretty shit for her. Hell, imagine having to deal with the machine guns in the 1900s.

@Wolfwhistler 300 years from the last sealing. She only got out this time because she was summoned. The other times she might have to break the seal all by herself so it can have been thousands of years since the first sealing and it seems that they do keep guard to make sure that she doesn't go out through the main entrance.

sounds pretty reasonable actually, every time an “evil” dragon or god is about to break out of a seal, the plot instantly wants the protagonist to either seal them or kill them, never thought about seeing if the being that’s been sealed is still evil or not
