@Logic People sure loves to push all the blame on the husband while overlooking the MC's problem. The husband has low sex drive, hence why he's not that interested in having sex. On the other hand, Michi is a self-centered, sex-obsessed woman who is insincere in patching the relationship with her husband. She even dismissed her husband when he said that he (might) had ED. With that kind of personality and attitude, it's no wonder the marriage isn't working.

In reality, Michi and her husband should be meeting marriage counselor IF they really want to repair their relationship. But I bet the author won't let that happen, just so that Michi could have an affair with Niina (by making their spouse look bad to the readers). Cheating is rampage in Japan. And the Japanese entertainment world is so full of it.

@Starbright It's understandable why Niina's wife is like that. In Japan, there is discrimination against women in the workplace, and they tend to be hostile towards them when they became pregnant and see them as burden. Hence why she is so focused on her career right now. I doubt she would chose to go with a well-off guy either. There is a reason why they are called workaholic y'know. And isn't this manga about cheating anyway? That's why their spouses are written as off-putting to readers.

saskldfjadfas why kaede got niina sleeping on the couch sick thats cold as hell, like literally all of her behaviour up to that point could be ascribed to an affectionate but preoccupied spouse, but with niina being sick it actually rings as callous and self-absorbed like at dead bedroom aside at least let him take the bed for the night.

niina's failing marriage aside i love that you-chan's only cameo this chapter was him avoiding interacting with his wife while claiming work as an excuse, like classic bum maneuvers. I'd assumed that his non-appearance was meant to draw a contrast between him and kaede with her being genuinely busy and therefore unable to maintain her relationship, but i guess they both just want maids?

@maddery mate she hasnt had sex in two years, she isnt sex obsessed. Its not even about that anyway, her husband wont even hug her.

He literally just ignores her and plays games and then acts like she is at fault when she points out that they havent had sex in two years and have zero intimacy. He's an emotionally manipulative blame-shifter. Obviously his wife isnt completely innocent, but he isnt even trying. I dont understand how you can see him as blameless here

@laiseran Because I'm tired of people putting all the blame on You but didn't think for a sec on why Michi is sexually unattractive to her own husband ok. Michi is a damn boring, selfish and nagging woman. No matter who she married, her marriage will be doom to be sexless thanks to herself. I will not blame You nor Kaede, for they are just cannon fodder created solely to justify Michi and Niina's cheating later.
