Niina's ruined thanks to the affair AND his feelings towards Michi. Michi's marriage is still ok because unlike Niina, You's was a one time thing and he did managed to repair his and Michi's relationship. Poor Kaede. I wish she knew about the affair and sue Michi in the court.

It seems from what you say, Niina indeed becomes the worst (something akin to Haruki from WA2) moving forward. Is there any redemption for him, or we've not reached that far yet in the raws?

Niina doesn't really do anything like that? In the latest published chapters he and Miichi decide that they're both pursuing their affair in order to escape from their depressing relationships and decide to talk it out with their spouses rather than using each other as distractions. Michi and Youichi both begin to reconcile and we see Youichi discuss this with Mishima, who reacts ambivalently. We don't actually see what goes down with him and Kaede, but there's no indication that he's even getting a divorce yet

No sadly. He fell for Michi too hard that I can't see him staying with his wife any longer. Which makes me mad because Michi's marriage became better thanks to You, who made an effort to save their marriage. When Kaede tried to do the same, Niina rebuke her because his heart already belongs to Michi.

Btw, who is this Haruki and what series is he from?

Yeah, and what I'm saying is that Niina's marriage is Niina's responsibilty, not Michi's. Michi never said any vows to Kaede, so I don't understand why you're giving her more blame than Niina for his own choice to be unfaithful to Kaede.

Niina’s wife destroyed the marriage because she put work before her marriage. Her job caused her to neglect her husband. Especially, on their wedding anniversary. He asked her for time together and she made him feel guilty. A marriage can end on various reasons, not just cheating.

I have the hopes they wouldn't go NTR tbh, it would be nice to see two people just supporting each other as best friends despite the differences in sex. But I doubt it because this is drama. I'm at least hoping for a happy ending as naive as it is, with little casualties as much as possible.
