I really like this series, its just epic melodrama and thats great everyone and awhile! Like Phantom of the Opera. Just an overly intense story of intense emotions.

I dropped this from the first few chapters. Now, I'm a fan of a bit of drama and romance. I don't even mind cliché and I live for some silly concepts like isekai and otome games and all of that. I say that because the problem with this isn't the cliché part. It's the sheer stupidity of the whole thing.

the guy is an imbrvile for causing her so much distress and emotional harm and not being aware of it and continuing to do that. She isn't any better since she should've told him "fuvj you, you're hurting me so I might as well hurt you" and then I wouldn't have even minded the silly pretend lover plot after she faced her husband and told him to fuck off. But him not realizing what he did wrong (or how badly it affects her) and her playing the role of the bad guy in the relationship is just frustrating and stupid.

Honestly, I still want her to end up with Orpheus. She's the love of his life and this all started with a misunderstanding about him and his cousin. If she moves on with claude, then who'll be there for Orpheus? He doesn't deserve it. In the beginning they should've talked it out, instead of her taking things into her own hands. I don't know if i'll be dropping this yet, I'm honestly tired of them running in circles, its giving me a headache

i- what did I just read? This summarises everything I don’t like about romance heavy stories: misunderstandings blown out of proportion, lack of communication, a main character who is way too presumptive (

), and a love interest that will always take them back regardless of how awful the main character’s actions were.

Also, once the main conflict is resolved, in this case a misunderstanding, then the story is essentially finished but the author tries to pad it out with cliche tropes.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a romance heavy book/manga so I just needed to rant for a bit . Usually I kinda enjoy them or can ignore the tropes long enough but here I just couldn’t do it.
