Sometimes we never realize the signs despite it being there. Especially if you approach things with a pure and honest outlook. It's only because she now sees all of Angela's actions under scrutiny that she finally sees through the illusion.

This is why it's important to not be too trusting. Sometimes you have to look at other people with suspicion.

Of course, it bothers me that a girl so young would be such a psychopath that is planning on ruining an entire family and killing them all.

Yeah, at the end of the day, Angela's actions are still horrible and no sob story will change the atrocious things she had done. I'd have been more sympathetic if she had a genuine cause for that.

But the one thing I can't stand is people trying to hurt others or take power just for the sake of it, rather than there being some noble or genuine goal beyond it.

Then it'd add some moral grey to the mix.

So basically a story of abuse and psychological suggestions that warped a little girl's mind that she became so mentally unstable that she would commit horrible things as a result. This is why we have therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists.

Anyone with spoilers mind help explaining why Angela's maid is willingly getting involved and supported her to hurt Bellachateur family? Especially since according to spoilers she's supposedly

a witch capable of brainwashing people with potion-ed teas and so is basically more capable of doing more things independently for her own agendas. I don't understand why she's working under Angela and for what motivations instead of just doing things her own ways through brainwashing all sorts of people and gaining her own pawns, and now she just practically has no screentime although she actually could have still taken actions on her own. Unless... Angela's twisted mind is actually a result of her brainwashing and she's a mastermind on the surface but actually a pawn of the true mastermind? My confusion is basically about the maid's motivation, goals and the reasons she's doing things so indirectly through Angela to achieve her goals.

Witchcraft is forbiden/banned. She and her mother are runaways and are being hunted down. They were taken in by Angela and her mom, helped them hide in their estate. So their relationship is based on loyalty for being in debt to them. She won't matter soon enough, since
