Ani no Yome to Kurashite Imasu. - Vol. 10 Ch. 91 - Diary 91

so this is what it feels, craving some cocaine but there isn't any.

my desperate meter is already reached my top skull

I feel like some of you are being a bit hard on Nozomi here, not really acknowledging the progress she made in this chapter. Sure it's not as substantial as actually finally opening up to Shino, but she's finally seeing it as a legitimate option. This entire time she's seen Shino as someone to protect and care for, which is great and all, but it's prevented her from being able to rely on her in a way to help her deal with her grief. Their relationship is great and strong and everything, but Nozomi has mostly been putting all her energy into making a good, happy life for Shino exactly so she doesn't have to confront her grief fully. But with Heidi's gentle pushing, and Shino's insistence she's admitted to both Shino and more importantly herself that she's willing to talk about it, albeit in the future, which is still a big bit of progress when it comes to dealing with something as painful as she is here.

I'm happy my predictions from last chapter haven't come true and author instead went with the "Heidi as plotdevice to change their perspective.".
The flustered Shino-chan levels today were off the charts! Kyute.
I'm glad Heidi confirmed being a useless gay crossdresser. And now that he jumpstarted the change for our two lovely useless lesbians, he can slowly fade out into uselessness again.

i know yuri baiting is the hottest shit right now but have you guys never gotten jealous over a friend's attention? i remember getting jealous because a puppy was paying someone else more attention ffs

Heidi's communication skills are off the charts! (Especially when compared to the rest of the cast. 😅)

Am I dumb for still having hope for those two?
Maybe I’m dumb...
I’m pretty sure I’m dumb...

Maybe I want to be dumb...

Nozomi keeps taking miniscule steps, but they are steps forward nonetheless. Author keeps baiting/implying stuff with volume covers and colour pages, but what else is new.

Also, just a point for everyone here, but they do not act like siblings. Nor do they act like lovers. It's a complicated co-dependency that is starting to get less complicated as we go on. We'll see what they end up as in the end. Probably siblings, but who knows.

Aahhh the natural... yuri bait! Just be yuri already if ur going on that path!

This isn't even baiting, it's just subtle with its shojou ai buildup to an inevitable crisis. This manga is reaching enough Shit-Hits-The-Fan tension to (slowly) change the status quo, and Kuzushiro has wrapped up her other yuri series.

I agree with Andigo! The author's just builds up the relationship in a realistic way, like you wouldn't just kiss a teenager your taking care of - and of you would that would be creepy (just like some super lovers shit).
You can obviously see that their relationship is deeper than the sisters' one and they both had realized that they don't want to ever part their ways. But when you would find yourself in a situation like that you wouldn't just rapidly come to the - Hey, lets be a couple! - solution - pretty awkward, don't you think?
Also the queer people like Heidi or Minato gives us a indication of the direction of the plot, don't you think?
