@SpacyRicochet In Japan most companies will require that you fill out a resume/CV form (rirekisho) when applying for a job. Since the form is standardized you can buy more-or-less universally accepted blank forms with all the required fields at stationery stores.

Also I think that hang up about appearing childish is itself childish.
