Just... ouch. At one point or another, every member of Shino's family has not come back. Girl hides her pain in daily life, but with this it's clear that that has left deep scars on her soul. In her own way she's just as afraid of being left alone as Nozomi is.

@pavel94: Define "flashback." It's set around the time of volume three, so somewhere around chapter 20-ish in sequence.

god damn, a bunch of light and fluffy stuff as per usual for an extra, then bam! one of the biggest emotional gut punches of the series on that last page. "i was just thinking to myself 'what would i do if nozomi-san never came back either?'" is one of the saddest lines in this entire manga.
