Wow that was weird. I read all the chapters but I guess because of the infrequency of the new ones I don't have a clear image of story unless i re read a few but...

So I thought up to this chapter that the guy was smitten with Shino... but somehow it's more that he knew Shino's dead brother and she reminds him of her brother??

At the end was a bit too creepy though... I mean he calls Taishi's number over and over knowing it's dead and I guess Shino's sis-in-law still kept the number active and she answers the phone?!! poor sis-in-law to have to receive such a call.

Seems like a nice guy but creepy.

The author does seem to enjoy messing with people with the Yuri-ness between the sisters and I have in past said I wouldnt be surprise (and personally be ok with it) if he went yuri at end. But now thinking about it I think I have a better idea of what will happen.... The manga here is tagged slice of life and doesn't even have a romantic tag giving some hint or hope that the story could go the direction of either sister being introduced to a male character to have a romantic end... So I see this lovely yuri-teasing love between in-laws to continue to the very sweet end of this story...

And after the story has come to it's contracted solution... the author will post on her own the extra last chapters that go full Yuri and they live happily ever after too. Then you'll get a few H chapters too.

That guy (i forgot his name) and taishi look almost identical (Page 14 & 15) and i can't remember if Taishis face was ever shown before. I wonder what the background story is between Taishi and that guy

No, she clearly can't do it decently, just like Harukawa Haru, Oshima Towa or (welp) Kodama Naoko. You don't get chemistry you don't get, simple as that. Contrast with Shimura Takako for example.

I never read this one with thinking it's yuri. I read because i found it interesting. Block if you want buddy, that just mean you're childish because you can't accept people enjoy this kind of manga. Seriously if you can't read manga with two girls interacting with each others in a somewhat romantic feelings than why reading it in the first place and come ret about how everybody reading it is a loser.

@Nameless_tea Like i said, it's better if you just block him. He just rent from time to time on readers of such mangas for liking Shoujo/GL story. Nothing good come from talking with it, the post he just made speak for itself. I ended block him for the greater good, better not speak with people coming on things they can't enjoy for telling to people they're idiots because they like it.

The guy was in shock over finding out about the death of his friend and consequently in full-on denial. He didn't call over and over, you're seeing the same call on the first and last few pages. There's nothing creepy about it.
He was trying to cope hard by rationalizing he was alive because the number still worked, until the call went through and reality finally hit him like a thousand bricks and like any person is grieving hard.

@Midoriha I can understand trying to cope and get over... but the brother has been dead a while... over six months at least right? Maybe over a year? And you cope by calling the number and having the widow answer the phone?? Maybe not over and over calling then... but before he dialed he knew the phone still rings and saying that while pressing dial that means he's doing it again. Anyways I still feel for Shino's sister for having to pick it up and be reminded herself.

Maybe it's just me extrapoling but to me it seem Tachibana may had romantic feeling for the brother. I know people react differently about someone death but he seem a bit more affected and in denial than the wife itself.

I really like the coworker guy, even if he is insensitive to his friend's grieving family without meaning to. He's dealing with grief just like Shino and Nozomi, but he doesn't have the benefit of their excellent support system, and so he's not dealing with his grief well.

Dang, he and the brother seemed close, it's odd neither of the girls knew about this guy.

Keep in mind the calling was all a flashback to when he found out his friend was dead. On top of that we see a single call that hints of the possibility of a maybe at least one call before that. He isn't still trying to call and chances are when she picks up and says her husband is dead (again as a flash back) that was probably the last time he tried. It seems like he was probably closer to a Kouhia then friend. Not someone known by his family very well (and why Shino might not realize his relationship with her brother) and got the information second or third hand. So his only contact outside meeting him might have been calling each other. Which is why he probably refused to believe he was dead while his one way to keep in touch with him was active.
