More like the teacher got revealed really quick cause we all know he's a bad guy. Even during them sparring they didn't even try hard to hide his evilness.
@kazamakj
Dark knights have bad rep of being battle crazy warriors, are avoided by society and so on. MC by becoming top tier Paladin wants to prove that's not entirely true.
That's a nice twist. The reveal felt a bit too quivk but that depends on what's going to happen next. If thr sensei turns out to be a minkt player then fine but if he is high up whatever organization he belongs to then truly this was too fast
@shira952: From what i understand, while he is the best Dark Knight (and more powerful than his Father, at the same age), but most of his experience comes from fighting and hunting Monsters.
I don't think it has been mentioned yet that he has experience in fighting intellectual beings like Humans, so he was easily cornered by someone more experienced at that.
I betting this will backfire at the "Evil Teacher", dunno, it's already clear how experient the MC is, so I don't think he really lose the mock battle.
I may be thinking too much deep, but I'm betting the MC did notice that something wrong with those bloodlust-ish attacks the teacher used and got some hints.
And I'm sure the MC will improve his dark style with the tips the teacher lessoned him.
what I'm still trying to get is how learning holy magic plays into that. I mean, is he trying to class change to a paladin or something? Then that would kill his whole goal since he achieved it as a paladin and not a dark knight. Well, if classes are inherent since birth and you can just pick up the skills of others than it makes sense. Wish that would be explained...
