i've read three of Teddy's recommendations and concur with Kusuriya, Tomo-chan and Sengoku, enjoyable reads probably more classified as he said then necessarily tomboys. Don't know the other two. I haven't finished it but don't be intimidated by Tomo, each chapter is actually only a page.
Suggestion
If you have a little patience I would consider using https://www.mangaupdates.com/index.html , see search suggestions below . The site does not have the mangas but is just a database. But many that you can find using the search will have a description if you follow the links. Not sure it is completely up to date, but it will also show if they have the latest releases listed if any and the groups doing the scanlating. Ex, https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=83705 last release chapter 20 over three years ago. Then you can come here and search for it.
The categories has two Tomboy tags. Also if you use the https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?act=genresearch you can narrow the list by checking what you want, like I want Comedy, I don't want Hentai in the Genre section. Then in Categories text box paste Tomboyish Female Lead or Tomboy/s (the two categories for Tomboy) and hit the search button. That should give you a decent list unless you narrow it too much.

in that case the story has not been tagged as tomboy female lead. I've read a good part of that and thought of her as more tough heroine then tomboy. I couldn't tell you what the distinction is for me but there was a difference. It's not perfect site but can be a good starting point. Guessing a little like here, some tags missing, some not tagged right.

It's about a really effeminate shota who confesses to a girl but she rejects him because of his height, and so he falls into a depression until he meets a really tall girl, who at first he mistakes for a boy, who plays him the guitar and tries to insert confidence into him.
It's only three volumes, but it ends decently well, though a bit ambiguous for spoiler-y reasons, but overall it's a good read

Honestly, I'm glad it had a conclusion, though I would have liked a little bit more in regards to
I love their relationship dynamic of the strong, assertive and "cool" female with the nervous short kid with an inferiority complex,
an epilogue where we see them getting married and their relationship as she moves to New York.
which gets flipped when she needs the emotional support which he is able to provide.
Though, my favorite relationship dynamics tend to be confident girl + shy boy, older girl + younger guy, weird person + normal person/popular person, sassy tomboy + dude who's their friend, trap x reverse trap (because comedy) and/or basically weird relationships or relationships with barriers to overcome (Monstergirls being an obvious example, especially ones where the female main character may not be the most attractive per se but you can feel that them and the main character share a special connection) where the synergy between the couple makes them work out well. It's fun to see these dynamics play out honestly and I find myself enjoying stories like the one above a LOT more than I have any right because it fits into that weird "clique" that I enjoy.
